Who Is Dana Dunn?
To summarize: Smart, Strategic and Driven.
A previous doer of all the things and master of none. Allie is a Minnesotan mother of three – She helps online business owners to launch and scale businesses that allow them complete freedom, with time-leveraged business models and absolutely ZERO ceilings on their income.
There’s no trading dollars for hours here.
But really, like, who are you ACTUALLY?
FAIR ENOUGH.
Truth be told, it took me a long time to honor and accept my story. My rebel tendencies can be traced back to elementary school where I spent my days with thick glasses, overweight and severely insecure – I can vividly remember being 10 years old and being in the middle of a circle of my peers – 5th grade girls, being taunted and shoved.
I was an easy target.
I’m sure this laid the foundation of the wall I eventually built around myself.
By middle and high school, I placed myself squarely in the DGAF category, (even though I DID truly and deeply GAF) – but the scars of bullying run deep. I avoided letting anyone in TOO close and spent most of my time jumping from clique to clique – always a little too audacious for my honors classes, too smart for the “popular” kids (though frequently invited to their parties), and too sarcastic for the teachers’ pets. I always felt like I was a little too much, yet not enough at the same time.

In hindsight, this is probably why I GET people and marketing as well as I do now.
From age 14 on, I became obsessed with studying the inner workings of how people think and spent HOURS on the phone at night with self-proclaimed “misfits” who told me they didn’t have anyone else to talk with while also occasionally sharing a lunch table with the popular kids – …when I felt like it. I quickly understood and calculated my actions and others’ subsequent reactions, and had control and people-ing down to a science.
In college, I studied graphic design and minored in marketing – escaping reality in the name of studying abroad as often as I could (twice, but still wish it had been more).
I met my husband, got married within a year of graduating college and got my dream job working as an SEO manager for a web development agency. I had my first child a year after that – which is when the self-identity crisis flood gates opened.
Becoming a full-time working mom cracked my walls wide open. I experienced postpartum anxiety so extreme that I faced serious physical symptoms from numbness to dizziness to feeling like my nervous system was completely shutting down and I mentally began planning my own funeral.
I knew I couldn’t continue like that, so I threw myself into a distraction from my anxiety symptoms and used my design skills to open an Etsy shop. My shop did well – I remember telling my mom that I had made $1000 in a single month and I felt brave enough to take on a few web design and social media clients… Consistently taking the next brave and logical step lead me to the desire to become an expert in paid advertising and sales funnels – ultimately mastering all things digital marketing.
After about two years of side-hustling and obsessively calculating what income I’d need to replace my designer salary, I happily walked away from my job.
Now, my story isn’t one of those where I opened the doors to my business and hit a million dollars in the first year of business – because that’s not what happened…. Not even close. It took me a long time to build trust in myself and believe that it* was even possible. (*It being a life of financial and time freedom.)
In fact, it took me six years to hit six figures.
It took me six years to finally listen to the voice in my head that told me I was ready to be more and do more – I stopped fighting my desire to teach and share my story and surrendered fully to using my voice and owning the power I’d had all along.
And once I cracked the code, I went from 6 figures to over 7 figures in annual revenue in less than 10 months, without working insane hours, alienating my family or losing my sense of self.
I stepped on stage to receive my Two Comma Club award at Funnel Hacking Live in January of 2020.
I’ve had the honor of helping hundreds of amazing, inspired entrepreneurs (like you!) do the same – no matter their story nor upon which step of the journey we’ve met.
It IS all possible. Our generation has been given an amazing opportunity in entrepreneurship that’s never before been available. We live in a reality where the number of lives we impact can be directly reflected by the dollars in our bank accounts – and I can show you how to do, be and have everything you’ve ever dreamt to be possible for your life.

obsessed with

travel
I love to board an airplane – anywhere. I also like road trips and adventures with my little family. I’m either traveling or planning my next trip.
In college, I studied art in the Czech Republic for a semester and toured Europe on the weekends (sounds posh – but it was via dirt-cheap train tickets and semi-questionable hostels).
I also spent a summer interning at a graphic design agency in Dublin, Ireland. Sláinte!
I’ve currently got a travel bucket list a mile long (usually inspired by pretty screensavers and obsessively tracking them down on the globe). I’m determined to build a business that allows for my family and I to jetset whenever.
A few more things you should know
I don’t just teach this stuff; I actually do it. I use the exact systems I teach for myself and my clients to increase their profitability. I am NOT just repeating what XYZ “top-secret” formula is being taught by the latest guru (insert gag reflex here).
I’m not JUST a business coach (And definitely not one of those intangible inception coaches who coaches coaches who also coach coaches – “on what exactly?” I wonder the same thing.), but I am ALSO a marketing and visibility consultant, strategist, designer, writer, agency owner and service-provider. (I’ve also had clients teasingly call me their fairy godmother, therapist, and long-lost best friend.) I’ve been working in the coaching and service provider online space since 2010 and I’ve been in digital marketing for over 12 years. I GET IT.
I’ve helped businesses make LOoOTS of money. I’ve worked with clients in dozens of different markets, from life coaching to industrial roofing (Yes… seriously – If you ask me to write a blog about your soffit and fascia, I may still be able to do it.), and I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t.
I’m a GOOD human. They don’t say “Minnesota Nice” for no reason… I’m a momma to three littles + a furbaby and wife to my college sweetheart. I’ve created a dream life where I get to work (or play) when and where I want. I’m living proof that it’s 110% possible to have it all. And I want you to have that too.
